This week’s Sunday Post starts with a loss in Beech Grove, then moves into real progress on Washington Square Mall. I also share the YMCA conversation and the priorities I put on the table with the Mayor’s Chief of Staff.
This week I brought City leadership, the YMCA, and Hancock Health together at the Indy Chamber for a working session Indy should have started years ago. We walked through a scalable prevention model (DPC plus the YMCA) and the hard truth on Ransburg: saving it as-is requires an endowment-style solution and about $20M, with a March 31 deadline approaching fast.
Real momentum on the Eastside, from a funded Washington Square study to a major jobs win at Kimball, plus the next step in our YMCA health model discussions. This is what Smart City leadership looks like in practice.
